Jebao = Taking over the world with Cheap! low power usage pumps & Wave makers, look

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Of heard from different sources that the Jebao pumps are a knock-off of the Waveline. I know the early Gen1 from Waveline (Gen 2 for other rebrands from the manufacturer) had pretty negative reviews.

I haven't had my DC12000 or DC1000 II for only 9months so cannot speak for long-term performance. I like DC pumps with controller and they are fairly quiet - running submerged and out of water.

I will be trying reeflo next
Never had a problem with reeflo dart or hammerhead hybrid gold. My dart has been going for a long time and my hammerhead is following in the same path. Good dependable quite pumps!

Mags do seem reliable, I have a pair of 1200s I use for WCs, but they aren't very efficient at all......

Vamptrev - You aren't running bead filters correct? IF so I think their most efficient pumps are the baldor motored Dart 4300 Hybrids. Hard to find but best gph/watt. Think the next best is the Emerson motors. The AO smith motors are the least desirable. It can be confusing looking at these pumps cause of the many different motor options.......

Yes it looks like dart or super dart will be my best options

Im running mag 5's on my reactors so the large pumps will be strictly mechanical

I just picked up a super dart for my system. Have heard nothing but good things about consumption and performance. I did hear there has been some instances of leaking seals but the customer service is supposed to be steller. I'll find out soon.

Been running a dct1200 for about a month now. Super quiet, power consumption is low and the thing can really move some water. I will be buying at least one more, and probably a dct15000.

LOL, a month is nothing. A pump running for years like my dart and hammerhead is an actual testament to quality. They may not be the best in the way of power consumption but that is a minor cost when running big tanks with big fish. No leaking seals, super quiet and so much water movement that my system can't even keep up to the flow of a hammerhead so I have to cut back the water coming into the tank.
