Thanks for the link, approximately how much do you pay for shipping. It had on there he only guarantees the fish if you use certain shipments but I don't know how much they cost. Thanks

I just got my order in 30mins ago. All fish are alive and in good health. I payed $38 for shipping to albany ny and in cold months that's not bad

I've ordered several fish from Jeff. He is a a great guy to communicate with and is always quick to answer any question. My orders so far have been processed the same day if I placed it early enough and arrived expertly packed and alive. The fish ranged from 4" to 12". I recommend you contact him with your inquiry, he will be able to tell you the cost of shipping, packing, total, etc. based on your location.

Well just got off the phone with Jeff. Ordered 3 fish, a red terror, juvie red devil , and a juvie jag. Will be here by noon Saturday. Cant wait. Thanks for all the input and I cant wait to see my new family members. :popcorn:....and BTW Jeff just got back from a trip to gather fish so be on the look out for an updated stock list......:D
 
You wont be disappointed. 4 orders from me - all great fish. I've ordered from other vendors and the acclimation period from a Rapps order seem to go much more smoothly - fish are up and swimming, looking for food sooner. Just my experience. Post some pics after they settle in.
 
I've honestly had better luck ordering CA / SA cichlids than any other, I've never had a bad order. Jeff Rapps and Dan from cichlids of americas are both really personable and between the two, you can almost always find any fish you want.

With Africans there was really only Dave, lots of bad experieces with other vendors.
