  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
emailed Jeff today and he's almost out of piquiti. said he's exporting most of them and the rest are pretty much reserved..

That doe not bode well for those of us who have been waiting for these to come through but can't jump on them right away but hey, business is business......Perhaps he's got another batch on order or Wes will be bringing some in...They both seem to deal with the same suppliers.

Just got my two azul in this morning from Rapps, as soon as I got them acclimated and swimming in my tanks I had to run to work so no pics yet but can put them up later... but honestly they look just like the pics on his website lol

awesome, getting mine on friday =]. They look kind of skinny on the website for 6-7 inchers though.

chizzle could you possibly send me pics of your venezulan orino im curious as to how they differ from the rio metas...i picked up a bahia from wes and its doing good, and im waiting to see the cichla hes bringing in because i am either getting another bass or ordering a pbb from toyin....

The ven orino had tons of spangles when it was around 5", its around 8" now and has lost most of the spangles. pretty much looks like my rio metas, but more slender. you can find a pic of how it used to look in my albums

Which on is it..i am asking because the ones I got from rixh at infinits aquatics dont look like that. Mine have spangles and what not ill post some pics for an id tjread later maybe you could check it out.

They are pretty skinny... I got them in a tank with a Guyana Ocell the exact same length but I would say he is easily double their weight... I am sure it wont be hard at all to fatten them though... I may feed live just to put some weight on them before swapping to pellets

(all my bass eat pellets so I am hoping the monkey see monkey do method works)
