jellybean parrot growht rate

on the growth rate, they grow very slow and are like convicts but shorter and stockier. i have had mine for almost a year and it is 3 inches. it is in a 100 gallon tank with BPs and JDs and is mean enough to hold his own.
thanks for the advice im in need of a fish that can holld his ground
 
it really depends on what else is in your tank. my JDs are fairly mellow. i have black skirt tetras in with them and they do ok too. i wouldn't put one with aggressive fish or with my fish in a smaller tank. they need room to get away and hiding places.

Most jellybeans are just short bodied pink convicts and thats what your fish is just normal SB pink con. Dont forget that dyed blood parrot also used that name jellybeans. Thats why i dont like that name Jellybeans as it cause some confusion as its only a name that LFS give to make a quick buck.

so what makes a short bodyed pink convict?
 
Ever heard balloon mollies, fancy goldfish, balloon kissing gourami and lots of short bodied fish? From inbreeding with that trait.
 
aalright thanks, so theres no way tht its a pink convict and a parrot,and what would be the growth rate of a shoet bodied convict?
