Jet black Johanna pike worth more?

Im going to have to go with that he is stressed out.. look at my thread "wild marm not eating" check out the pics.. even a fish that has a lot of color can go pitch black.. I know this first hand now.. you can try the method that I used in my post and see f it works for. You aswell
 
You know what. I put the pike in another tank yesterday and he got his original color back and it was not black. Well, yea I learn something new everyday. So there is no jet black pike.
 
there are 2 true black pikes---xingu 3 which when in adult and happy coloration ranges from dark grey to jet black and the cametana
 
are there any fish in the tank with it? if not then something might not be wrong with water. thats what i love about cichlids u can tell their moodes because of their colors. my lil compress gets really dark like down his back when he gets mad at his tank mates or when i need to do a water change he gets pale. well when he gets stressed cuz i forgot to do a water change due to how busy i am. pics plz
