Jewel cichlid

I have a ten gal. tank with one cory ceat and one jewel cichlid the jewel is only about an inch and a half long and the cory is only half inch. I do plan on getting a few more cory cats though. What i wanted to know is what would you recommend as a tank mate for the jewel?
 
I know that you people know something about jewel's cause i already got chewed out for putting it with a kenyi. come on now. I was actually thinking about getting a fariy cichlid. Would they be all right together?
 
well wat is ur jewel like is he active or is her like mellow i would think a good tank mate is a JD it worked out for me and plus they dont grow fast so they would likey just get along nicely if same size as jewel.
 
Well i'm not sure exactly what he's liek i'm not even sure if it's a he. I just moved my kenyi this morning so i haven't had much time to watch him. But i don't want a fish that's gonna get really big really quick. I only have a ten gal. right now.
 
He still mostly hides i figured i would give him a couple days before i thought about putting anything with him.
 
a green terror really. I thought they got like really big. I really wanted to get a fairy cichlid though.
 
for right now yes but soon i'm gonna go out and buy a bigger one what size should i get?

you know on this forum everyone would say get the biggest one you can afford.......so get the biggest size that you have the room for
