im not sure if the spelling is correct but anyway.
i got a sexed pair of jewel/jual cichlids and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to breed them. thanks in advance:)
 
How do you know you definitly have a pair... they will breed fairly easy as long as you keep up with water changes and the fish stay healthy...i love jewels.. is your male very beautiful color next to a drab color female... how old are they.... love to see some pics of them...
 
not sure how old they are but the "male" is a lot more colorful than the female. he has like red and gold and light blue. the "female" has not much color except for sum blue dots.
i hope they breed. i havent bred anything since my oscars.

you bred your oscars??? wow
 
well i didnt "breed" them they just spawned a few times and i sold the fry. and oscars r expensive here. i sold the fry 3 and 4 dollars a piece!!!!!:)

wow that is awesome... never saw tiny little baby Oscars..you will have to tell me all about it...;)

do you still have the oscar pair?
 
yeah.
they dont do it any more because i put in a 3rd oscar. if i want them to do it again i hope i can just take out the new guy and theyll do it again.
