Jewel Fish

I have this great orangish jewel fish and I was wondering how he would do in an African tank... Call me silly I know a lot about lake africans and nothing about river... should he join my others or stay in my river sa/ca tank?

ps... he is kicking the crap out of my lil convicts... I got them as fry so... not huge, still wonder

hey is it a hemichromis cristatus, do you have a pics/, just wondering cause hemichromis sp, r what im into , to answer your question they will live in just about anywater, weather or not they color up too there full potential, depends on what types of water and if they have been captive breed for along time, and r use to the conditions

well the jewel killed an entire tank... so I took him to work and sold him to a guy I know who breeds them... I will stick to the lake fish... I am really just out of tanks for him... 7 is all my fam will let me put up until my house is finished this summer...then hello entire fish basement and show tanks throughout...
