i agree, first you tell us that Jewels arent african then you say "ok, then i will get a midas instead" man, research the god dam things before you buy them... :banhim:
 
thats why im a member of this forum so i can get proper advice. i was told dont get a jewel because its african by one member and told by another it was a good choice. also i was told that a nic would make a good tankmate for a dempsey, in which case it should be able to hold its own against a midas. dont come at me with an attitude like your better than me because i asked for help and you decided to make fun of me instead of informing me. It may make me slightly ignorant on fishkeeping. but it makes you a pr!ck!!!!!! by the way thank you for your help cichlaholic i should have listened to you to begin with.

Umm....I don't see where anyone told you that because a nic would be a good tankmate for a depmsey, it would be good with a midas. People did say a nic can work with a JD, but absolutely no one mentioned a Midas. Midas are way way WAY more aggressive than JDs. You asked a question, and people helped by making suggestions, no one suggested a midas and you didn't ask about one. I have no idea where you got the idea that if a nic can holds its own against a JD, it would do alright with a midas, but it wasn't from the posts on this thread.
