I have never shipped fish. And I would hate for Egghead to be my first (Guinea Pig). I'm iffy about it. We'll see how the thread goes. If he's still around, then I'll think about it...

I can meet anyone that lives in Florida half way!
As long as you live in Florida, I am willing to meet you halfway between you and me.

If anyone is interested in buying him, you are free to come over and view him. And remember, I can meet you half way between you and me anywhere in Florida.

such a beautiful fish. may i ask y u r getting rid of it?

First is he is starting to chase my other fishes. They have grown close to his size and he doesn't like fish his size. If i dont at least get him out of that tank, in 3 months time, most if not all of my fish will be dead.

Also, I have had my eye on a SRS flowerhorn for some time now and cannot put it in the tank with the JK. He has a deep hatred towards other flowerhorns no matter what size. I would buy another tank, but there are already wall to wall tanks in my house (roomate has 30,55,125,210) and I can't get any more until I move next month.

I love this fish, but he was never the fish I intended. I purchased him from what I thought was a reputable vender as a "Red Texas" at 2" for $125+shipping. They know they sold me the wrong fish too. Iv politely emailed and PM'd them with no response. Not even a "sorry".

So those are the reasons.

On a side note, if anyones interested in breeding him, I think he is also full of milt. I'm going to try and milk him soon and see. I know someone who had one of these that also had a hefty stomach and she said they produce a great deal of milt. So she milked hers.
