I've noticed a decent amount of threads about jobs/employment, etc. That being said, I am curious to know... Is the economy still that bad in the States? I don't have a problem finding work here (Canada), and that's without a University ( sorry, COLLEGE ) education. It's unfortunate that a countries countless years of bad decision making has affected it's people soo much...

Depends on the state I guess... Its very hard to find a job here even an entry level crap cashier job. I live in Tampa, FL but I am pretty sure they rest of FL isn't much better. I ve been applying like crazy, have good refrences, aa degree, working on my bs degree and have had enough job experience. I ve even applied at places that would normally be hiring for the holidays and most still are not hiring even seasonal =[ Unless you live near the theme parks... it usually tends to be easy to get a job with them... (but they treat you like utter crap.. I am at one now).

sad news, im broke for the next 2 weeks ( usally get 60 buxs a week for my ssi ) but somehow im out of dough right now i pay 400 living here and 108 for my laptop plus weekly bills so now im broke for the next 2 weeks DANGNABIT!

and didnt hear from gordys yet.
gordys is a grosery store.

Maybe you could start writing down everything you spend in a text file on your computer. It could help you keep up with what you are spending so you aren't suddenly broke. If you are going to get a job you should try to have some sort of plan to manage your money. It's no fun living pay check to paycheck.
