i'm watching the dan patrick show right now as i'm typing this. they were one of the front runners as far as radio hosts and sport shows ripping jo paterno. he just compared the syracuse case and penn state case. said there's really no difference, that joe pa legally did everything he was suppose to do but the media still killed him because morally he could've done more. Same scenario with syracuse, the syracuse post and espn both had that interview with his wife and both have uncovered evidence way back in 2002 and legally did what they were suppose to do.....but once again morally could've done more but no one is ripping them. he also said anyone who knew should feel guilty about any victims after 2002, including the people from espn who sat on the tapes until last week.

jim boehim got a standing ovation in a game 2 days ago.........yet people in here crucifiye joe paterno for a few hundred loyal fans showing up at his place and thanking him for his years of service and voicing their disappointment in him being let go. why are YOU playing the 2 situations differently?

watched the same segment ,at syracuse ,the investigation is really just starting.at jopa u. theres already been an indictment and an arrest so there are A FEW differences +dp dont like the "mothership " and always gets his digs in,but you are right ,its starting to look a little familiar

Sweet! I'm not on the list
:naughty:
Let's stop for a second and compare Joe Paterno to MJ's doctor. MJ's doctor DID something above and beyond... he personally took MJ out. He got prison time for it and the hate of the world . Paterno reported to the higher power(someone who could actually do something about it) and to the police. Paterno DID NOT personally take Sandusky out. He gets fired the hate of most of the world....

...something doesn't match up here.

Seems people like to complain no matter what.

dont worry Ill get to you ,sooner or later:)

you are right that DP always make digs at "the mothership" but that's not the reason why he's pointing out how the media (national too, not just espn) is proceeding differently. did you miss that an adult accused Fined of abuse from when he was a kid and the police did a lil investigating and then drop it because the statue of limitation had passed. that means the dude should've already been on the radar a looooooooong time ago regardless of weither official charges had been made or not.

Yes it does and hopefully it does not help Sandoushky in any way.

Sounds like the school is trying to hide things

Odds are that the higher ups there are trying to cover their butts by keeping their mouths shut rather than help Sandusky or the others who were affected in some way by his actions. They've already offered up their sacrificial lambs at this point, so they probably figure that all is well for them at this point in time.

Iagree 100% but it isnt ESPNS job to police Syracuse +its their policy that they need 2sources (reliable) to report something like this(Iknew aguy that worked for ESPN radio)
