I dont know
My red zebra bred with my johanni 3 months ago on 4 seperate ocassions producing around 3040 fry a brood.-036.JPG

The fish are a golden yellow it a strange mix between the red zebra and the johanni. They actually take after the zebra more and look like normale zebra fry. The female is a johanni and bred by zebra me a few years back and she is pure. The red zebra was purchase from my friend. His name is starburst because his color makes him looks like a delicious ass starburst. Im hoping some of the males look like a regular johanni male with orange.

some wont be 100& johanni male and some 15% johanni males... dna doesnt work like that..... any clealer pics of fry?

the mom is a hybrid.. but **** loads of babies.. how often do they breed? and how big are the parents in inches?

They dont breed seeing as the father died while I was away, murder I suspect lol. But they use to breed once a month and half right after she spit ut the fry. She a really good momma. She had like 30 bathches for me in the last 2.5yrs not of hybrids but actual pure joahnni. Anyways i am hoping to breed a baby back to the mom. I want a male with orange and blue. That would look neat lol. I need to find another johanni male to. The dad was like 5.5 and the mom is 4.5. She really fertile that why I still have her.
