I've had these darters for a few months and I'm 99% sure they're Johnnys but I just want to double check. As long as they are Johhnys I'll be keeping them in this setup (going to make some changes to it) to breed them come spring since I've heard Johnnys and Fantails are the best darters to start with if I want to breed darters.

Possibly you should visit the NANFA site, darters aren't my area of expertise but many people there are all about darters... they do look like johnny darters but then lots of them do.

Nanfa site has been down for a few days now. They lost database information for about 5-800 people and are still working to fix it, I had to make a new account so I'm good at this point but nobody is posting as of yet.

Really? They made a whole forum titled "technical difficulties and login names" just so people wouldn't start flipping out and PM admins. It talks about the problem on their Facebook page as well.

Cool fish. Did you collect them yourself?

Thanks! Yeah I collected them. They're nice patterned fish but unfortunately the least personable darters I have and still appear mildly scared of me. The ones from the same location were extremely curious about me when I snorkeled at the collection spot.

For some reason it hasn't affected me, I see posts about problems but the site and threads are still there.
