A few members on here have had good luck with making temp ponds using cinder blocks and cap blocks to hold the liner in place. The pond footprint would be close to that of the tank but about 6 inches shallower. I should then be able to syphon all the water directly from tank to pond and move the filter over. This will help eliminate the problems with PH my water has and the chance of a ammonia spike from a bad cycle.

once that's done I will lift the tank on its side and let it dry and try and find the hole. Then reinforce the corner and repaint the inside of the tank with Herco H-55 Pond Coating - One Gallon

Then tank seems to have leveled out at a certain depth. Going to start in on the temp pond the end of this weak. Decided to take a few pics during the last feeding Never thought half a hotdog would look so small

Emergency pond build got started yesterday.

On a plant filtration side note.
With the water level of the tank so low I never thought about the pathos vines and the height of the root mass. Be cause of the plants I only run 2 canister filters on the tank. one rated for 150gallon tanks and the other for 80. Because the roots were out of the water Ammonia levels jumped. A few water changes and its back under control. I don't know if any other TSN owners have seen this but mine turns into a prick and beats on poor Jojo any time ammonia spikes

Temp pond move was a success!!!

Both fish are active and seem to be adjusting fine. I seeded it with 50% of the water from the 300 and the 2 active filters plus an extra filter to keep the chance of cycling down.

Have the dehumifier on hi next to the tank and lifted it off its base to let the damage start to dry. There seems to be no structural damage yet but that's just from a quick glance.

How are they doing now?

Lets just say the last 2 months the fish have been fine but anything that could go wrong has gone wrong with just about anything else around me. Im in the middle of repainting the tank in Herco pond paint have to paint a coating every 4 hours tomorrow then after that wait 5 days to fill with water another 2 days to let settle then take half out add the temp pond water in. transplant the plants and the filters and then the fish. AKA 2 weeks everything goes right they are back in their home for the next 2 years well i prep and build the final tank.
