its looking good, shame about the ntt though.

Yea it sucks, but that's the way it goes in an expensive hobby. My buddy that runs my LFS is going to try to get some widebars for me after the new year. So if that works out, all will be well.

I'm going tonight to another LFS that has another NTT. I heard one of its eyes may be cloudy though, so not sure if I'm going to pick it up.

Well, I awoke to find the other dat dead at the bottom of the tank this morning. No marks on him, so it wasn't murdered by anyone else in the tank. I adjusted water temp., chemicals a few days ago when the first one died, so I have no idea why this happened again. I have circulation and air running in the tank so that's not the issue.

Anyhow, I have a philosophy final in 30 minutes, so I can't look into it any more at this moment. I'll do another 3 point test when I get home in a couple hours. My arowana and bichir both seem fine. Currently both are a little fatty since I just fed them live last night, and they are acting like they have been for over a year now. I even just recently got a clown loach that seems to be happy. Really odd to me, but I am sad because I've lost the only 2 I've ever had in less then 2 weeks. That is really abnormal for me, as I haven't killed a fish ever! And I've been keeping fish for over 7 years now, even though I just recently got into monster fish, before I kept mostly small cichlids a couple oscars being the largest fish I had at 12 inches each.

So....looks like this journal will be closing sooner then expected. Thanks to those that have read it, and here's to the future!

BUMMER MAN! DOnt give up! My Gf killed 2 of my dats with an overdose of melafix. Youll get more eventually!

nice tank..awesome fish..take an eye on jar thru stone..i just worried somethin un-wanted happen.maybe driftwood seem OK to dats .other than that..
:headbang2

Instead of getting more dats, I just got like 7 clown loaches last week. The main purpose behind them was to have a non-catfish fish to sift through the bottom-matter for me. They're doing their job well, and are actually quite entertaining to watch too! haha.
