I have no idea, I am no expert. I was just told it was a marbled Gecko.

Here is Kitra

Great looking gecko. I love geckoes.

I have read about tiny bottom soil feeders to keep soil clean if tank wasnt over crowded but didnt think that would work long term because they themselves produce waste.

I would say its a house gecko species Hemidactylus sp. The tank suits him well, just make shure its not too moist. Colebola can be a great help at cleaning

You know how it goes with geckos as so many types in the Hemidactylus group and some you have to be an expert to tell which is what but his is sold as marbled.

I think African marbled in area pet store as not Australian marbled.

Ever see one reach about 9 to 10 Inches in length

Coura knows herps but in your case your Marbled gecko isnt common to the market and think only seasonal and not carried in every state.

I never saw them back 3 yrs in NY and I went to great mom/pop pet stores but have seen them here for $20 but not often.

Though kingsnake has them cheaper but thats the case with every herp.

The males seem to have more pronounced spots . Would be nice to breed them.
