You can keep wilds in tap water but remember, there is a difference in wild discus surviving in hard water and living in soft water.……

beautiful fish, i wish our water was not so flippin hard, i would love discus.

I'm breeding mine in 8.5+ ph. The breeder I got them from used tap water with high ph. I just buy my discus from breeders that are local to me and use tap water.

Nice f0 discus! Breeding discus is frustrating! Lol
