My oscar that jumps up out of the water and takes food from my hand, finaly made it out of the tank last night. it happened so fast i didnt even relize what happened. i was bent down picking something up off the floor i think and this little black blob goes wizzing by my head... then a few secounds later after i relized what happend i picked him up... the sad part about it is that he has a bad eye. he dosent have a puple in it, so he is blind in his left eye, so he was probly confused and that is why he jumped... but if was soo funny, knew it was going to happen and i am glad it happend when i was right there.

He is doing fine and swimming around happaly today, with my luck he will die tomarrow.
 
aww poor guy, well I hope he makes out okay. I know the feeling tho, my oscars are very jumpy when i feed them by hand.
 
jumppy?? the dude that hit the floor jumps clean out of the water and takes food from my hand!!

also had to move my new 12 incher today LOL he won the battle but i won the war. he thought that if he swam down while i was pulling him out with the net, he could get away... onlything that got away was about half the water in the tank, there was even water on the celing!

But he is doing good, and the one that hit the floor last night is doing good... just pulled my TSN out tonight though :cry: and none of the LFSs around here have any atm :wall: he was the last one at the closest LFS
 
thats why u never teach your fish to jump for food. always stick the food a lil biit in the water, u end up with dried fish later down the road.
