I have a couple larger fish that I may be parting with but they're not aggressive like jags -- just a few severums and a male Saxatilis pike.

Seriously, you live in Florida, I can't believe someone charged you $50 for a Jag. Let us know what you catch. If I was there I'd go fishing with you!

It's not as easy as it sounds. Those fish are limited to the south and die off due to freezes. There's definitely honey holes, but those are guarded secrets and filled with fish to big for my tanks. Plus how am I suppose to transfer a wild caught fish, 3 hours to my house? Learn some geography guys! Orlando is pretty far north for Florida. If you could cast net a large Gapote,Tucanare, or Tambaquie I would salute you, as that would mitigate the stress of a hook catch, but is nearly impossible due to there agility and intelligence. I already have a tank full of natives too. Peakcock season is in the summer, and hopefully I will be at the University of Hawaii by then to finish my post doc.
