jumping aros

would lowering the water lvl of the tank make aro want to jump more or less. my first aro RIP b/c of jumping. its only 10inch, had 5 inch space between water and the top of the tank and still jumped out.

with all my aros, I keep the tank water level full.

less water in the tank means less room to swim, which will make an aro even more jumpy IMO. i keep my tanks full as well.

full all the way. just keep your tank well covered. i've never lost an aro from jumping out of the tank, but they do jump.

jumping depends on the individual aro I have one that never has jumped for anythin and I have had two in the past leap tank and found on the floor dead.. but keeping the water level full is optimal

Full water bud, if you have it lower it will just encourage it to jump even more.
