No he only started doing it after i returned from my holiday i add a friend feed my fish but told them not to turn lights on during the week i was away . So i thought he needed to get used to the lights again so i left the lights on but still no look so iam at a loss

when you were away did the tank get any light at all like through a window or it was dark all the time. a couple of more people had the same problem when they were away for a week and the lights were off. maybe all dark in the tank for a week could be the problem

my brothers used to jump so we asked the manager at the store she said they get spooked really easy and even told him to lower the water level a tiny bit so he didnt crash into the top when he decided to make his leap of faith

but then again i guess it all depends on the size of the fish. if it bigger water down and inch or so aint gonna matter

add floating plants,if you turn on light to long then turn off your aro wont be use to dark

i agree. you're probably throwing off your arowan's biological clock. most living creatures do need a little down time to rest and recover from energy used during their daily activity. turn the lights off at night, at some point.
