Hello everyone! I’ve been out of the aquarium hobby for some time now and I am getting back in. A litte background on my keeping experience. I was maintaining 3 tanks when I got out. 90 planted discus tank, 55 planted community, and 72 bow front African cichlid tank no plants. Both of my planted tanks had co2 injection and the whole 9 yards. Back then I got into a very well paying job but it forced me to travel so much I had no time for the tanks. So, fast foward and I get to come home every night now and I am setting up another tank. A 100 gallon 72”x18”x17” tank. I am going to plant it fully with co2 injection/diffusion (whatever you want to call it) and I am looking for schooling fish. I know schooling fish are out there a dime a dozen but I want something a little larger and that’s where I am lost. So, any suggestions for larger schooling fish? Not piranha as I live in idiot North Carolina and because some hillbilly somewhere once upon a time claimed he caught a piranha they are illegal here. But, something like tetras but with some size to it that I can still keep a nice size group of and won’t destroy my plants.
