i checked my nitrite level this morning it was at zero thanks for all the help

keep in mind these levels will fluctuate as the tank cycles, so make sure to check the nitrites every other day or so, preferably every day. it's good that they are at zero now, but they need to stay that way, so continue to test the water. good luck--

the tank won't necessarily be large enough for the fish for life, but it will hold the lungfish for quite some time. if the fish is 10" now, i would say you have at least a year with the 125g, if not a little more.

lungfish need good filtration and lots of large, frequent water changes, but the space requirement for one individual in captivity is not the same as some other fishes that are naturally more active in their swimming habits. again, you're definitely good for a year or so, probably a little while longer.

nice job on picking up the new tank, and keep us posted on it's progress. if you are able to set up the new tank soon, i would get it fired up with the cycle you purchased (or buy some more) and start cycling the tank and eventually (once cycled) move the lungfish to his new home. good luck!--

Hope you can get this new tank up and running ASAP - give your lungfish some room. BUT do make sure your water parameters stay in check
