14"???!!! Amazing Martin-mines 9" now (got it last August at 3") so have along way to go.
BTW what filtration you using on the tank?

External 2 x fx5's and a tetratec 1200. Internals eheim 2252 and a fluval 4.

Had that thin bar for years since it was a 1" baby
