when juvenile, yes a little snappy............but that means good feeding response....And I would much rater have a snappy Juv than a lethargic scared snake.......but JCP are known to be "lap snakes" when larger...............I've seen a lot of people walk around at reptile shows, etc all day with a jcp wrapped up in their arms............


BTW this snake has always been fed in a seperate steralite container!!!!
