Jungle Carpet Python

I just purchased this snake the other day. I have kept carpet pythons in the past and loved them but I was unable to keep them long ago for various reasons. This one, I am told is 100% jungle and is around 4 feet long. I did not know she was this big before purchasing her so I must keep her in a bin for now. Any questions I will be happy to answer.

Jungles can reach 6-8 feet. Depending on there blood line (many are mixed with other species of carpet) I have read some attaining 9 foot. For the most part and the ones I've seen and kept, they are a very friendly snakes.

I've always loved these guys! She looks amazing. A shop by me had a freak pair that were insane! Brightest I've ever seen them and they were HUGE for a jungle carpet. Around 10ft! Probably had something mixed cuz their heads looked extremely beefy as well but they were gorgeous!

May want to change that wire opening. He might rub on it, and its like a cheese grater. I would just use a finer mesh and it would be good.

The wire is where the lamp goes. I use a 60w CHE and it does the job well.

Very nice! Carpets are proably my favourite snakes. Are they suitable for beginners?
