If there is no known problem and you are just treating a new fish or something i allways treat 2 times. So for this I add 1 tablet for each 10g of tank size. And then wait 48 hours and add another tablet for each 10g of tank size. And then do not do a water change for a week. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is for a hospital tank. If you are treating your main tank then do not follow this regiment. The parasite clear will kill the benificial bacteria in your tank at the package reccommended high doses. If you are treating your main tank then i use half a dose so 1 tablet for each 20 gallons once a week. And do a water change before the next dose. I do this for a month.
I have heard on very good word that it will not affect beneficial bacteria .

Ive heard its safe too. Its said that Maracyn kills off BB, I took the precautions though. I did check the tank when treating with that and didnt find parameters wacked out, so I dont know if its true or not. But I like to be safe than sorry, anyone know for sure if this stuff kills off BB?

and how much was the prazi pro?

Parasite clear has prazi in it. I know the small boxes can be cheap but I have the bigger box that cost me $24.99

I was gonna buy prazipro but lots of people recommended me the parasite clear because it had parazi in it as well as metro. And Ive heard alot of good about parasite clear.

I thought so to as the med is for parasites and not bacteria. So I added it to a tank for a precaution that was fully cycled for almost a year and the next day I had 200 bucks worth of payara floating in it. The water tested at 4-6ppm of ammonia and proved to be lethal. So I called jungle labs tech line and asked if the parasite clear med would harm the bio filter of the tank. And was told that it was very possible, and they also recommended that any of there meds be used in a hospital tank only. ---------So with all that i now let everyone know just to be safe.

Hmmm. I like to be safe than sorry, But I heard from quite a bit of people using this med and not having those kind of problems. Even some vendors use it when they get fish in. I just dont know.
