Junk tanks. How do you get rid of them?

Just like it says. If you have any old junk tanks the are either cracked. or just not worth fixing b/c buying new would be cheeper what do you do with them?

I have 2 55s I need to junk and they are both to far gone to be fixed. One I broke trying to drill and the other didn't have a good brace on either end. so I took one of the panels off to see how hard it was and when I got done I decided that it wasn't going to get rebuilt b/c it would be cheeper to find another one.


So what do you do with trash tanks? break them and throw them out?
 
Its a good thing glass is recycleable,just put them out for collection.

I would but the stupid recycle guys won't pick anything up that won' fit in our boxes. So that's out of the question good idea though

Trust me they are not even worth that. I would feel bad giving someone something in this bad of shape. neither have a front panel and one is also missing both braces.
 
I take them apart, clean off the silicone... and lie to myself saying "someday" I'll make them into "something"... then I put them in storage until I break them... then I put them in the trash...

That will make them fit. lol. I'll have to wait till next week though to try that. I got to much stuff to recylce this week the bins are full allready. I should call around and see if any recycle places take glass like that or if I have to leave it out.
