My jur sticks to the side of the tank with no current, and rarely ever moves. He perches a lot. I've noticed that the trailer doesn't have a lot to do with anything other than how long it can get before it snags on something and tears off just to regrow again. My 14" guy had a trailer about 20", and the bottom trailer was about 10", but they got tangled around each other and my lima tried to swim between them and snapped them both off to about 3" each. Now two months later they are about 14" and 8".
