go for it man this thing is awsome it'll just perch for a long time on a rock and wait for food like in your avatar...remove your pleco and clean your tank yourself!!!

Yeah, well mine is about 5" (without tail) and he still just stays vertical against the back glass. He is in a 120g with bottom feeders (CL's, synos, plecos) and a school of 30 silver dollars. If the lights are out, I can find him perching, but if he sees movement, he is against the back glass behind a plant. I think I will be moving him to a bare bottom 55g growout in the next few days to bulk him up on ghost shrimp, market shrimp, and feeders.

Mine does the same thing...im thinking of moving him too to another tank to fatten him up a bit..
