I was thinking I would get 2 rosey reds and just hope the catfish gets them 
What I meant is I don't have the luxury of keeping feeders in a tank for 2 weeks at a time because no matter how many I buy they will be gone in a few days.
P-bass moving is not an option they will be eaten almost instantly by my ray in the bigger tank. I just have to hope the cat comes around sooner than later

Never had to try the live. Picked up some frozen bloodworms and he went crazy 
Which is great because the P-bass stuff themselves so bad with pellets that they don't give a crap about bloodworms

could always put a divider in the tank... so you can seperate them without moving them... even if it's only long enough to get him eating... or if only during feeding time for a couple hours to put the food in and give him a chance... then take out for the rest of day... more work but just a thought
