just a few pics , trying to get better opinions on cam req'd

trying my hardest to get some quality shots , just useing a casio camera , thinking of getting a nikon 40d ,but unshure how much of an improvement it would be over the casio z500 that iam using now , what do you guys think ? or can you suggest a better cam around the same price ?

great shots! i have bin useing nikonD40 i got for xmas and love it id dont have some of the features some of the high end cams do but i dont make a living with one either
i have 2 macro lenses now and some of the pic's are stunning keep working with your stuff looks awsome

thanks guys much appreciated , the d40 is on offer over here at the moment for £259 plus £35 redemption in box so for £224 is got to be worth a go .

There would be an improvement in your photos if you're prepared to spend more money after the d40 to get a speedflash and shoot with overhead flash.

ill look into that ,many thanks , i did think i would need some extra stuff but was not shure on what suited aquarium photography best , so 1st on list is speedflash ,and i suppose i will need some sort of cable or remote device to use flash from above ? anything else that would benifit me for taking shots of fish ?



labiatus55 - many thanks , i love my redlines, i got them in while i still can in the uk , i think all channa will be very rare and very expensive over here after the import ban comes in , in august
