the aquarium is only light by a 60" luminaire containing 3 tubes t8's
i may upgrade in the future the catfish like the dim lighting though

Wow amazing man very nice! Great work on the stand. I like the middle lighting with it dimming down a bit when it gets to the bottom. Makes it look like a Deep river with lots of over hanging trees blockling light.

Thats a beautiful setup. I like the low lights to get those catfish out in the open. Since I have planted tanks with high wattage, my fancy plecos are always hiding, usually can lure out with food.
