all got plenty of growing to do i know i may need to thin the stock out as they grow!

I'm sure all the cichlid also appreciate the dim lighting. Super bright lighting is always in the best interest of the owner vs the cichlid...except when it comes to Africans
 
Awesome low-light tank! Will the jungle vals do okay in low lighting like that? (or are they crinium?)
 
I need to trim the giant vallis back every month as it curls up all over the surface each strand growing well over 5ft long other fishkeepers i have spoken to struggle to grow this plant but it seems to thrive in my aquarium.
