Just a red devil?

could it be a juvenile snook? possibly? they have weird looking mouths and are gray at around that size.
 
Possibly amphilophus lyonsi but need a better pic
 
i just went to petsmart today and say fish labeled rds and a couple of them looked exactly like yours so i would say a rd
 
ive got a rd in there as well with it but its changed colour, this one is big enough to change but isnt its mouth is also different
 
its RD/MIdas the mouth may look different because it is showing stronger characteristic of either fish. (blunter profile = more midas) as for colour change this doesn't happen at the same time some may not colour up till quite big.
i have a tank full of these juvi's
