they also had scats in there, @ $1. but then again, people here consider them as "food".
 
thats different from what i've seen. it looks more similar to the pic i've posted.
 
There are some threads here on MFK from 2005 - 2007 about being able to keep BB Groupers in freshwater, acclimating the, etc. I don't think there was ever any agreed upon yes or no on if it was possible/safe for the fish. Fugupuff would be the one to ask though.
 
i don't think those "food" fish vendors would waste their time acclimating those fish just to be eaten. it's really a mystery, i'll go back there and take a vid. i promise.
