For many it would be confusing. They would not know where to post. Case in point when people ask about Flower Horns and Buttikofferi on this cichlid forum.
Just a thought; split the CA/SA Cichlid forum?

I say leave it the way it is, but I do like the idea of adding the pikes and discus/angel sections here. They don't get much traffic at all and as stated above they are frequently kept with other SA/CA fish.
Leave well enough alone. I think most people on this forum have cared for both CA and SA cichlids. Keeping them together makes it easier to compare and trade ideas on both. I think this is the reason this forum has so much traffic. There's enough here for many people to enjoy and learn from.
Im with leaving it the way it is. As you can see by my number of posts, im a newbie. I cant tell them apart. Lame excuse, i know. Separating it would probably cause me to post in the wrong place until i learn a lil more.

I suggested this in the "suggestions" forum one time and the point was brought up that it would be a nightmare for the mods with people posting in the wrong sections and them having to move all of the threads. I think it is a good idea if everyone knew which fish were CA or SA but the truth is that not every one does.
