Just a thought; split the CA/SA Cichlid forum?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep. From the speck of dust, cells, tissues, brains, researches, experiences, etc, we do start somewhere there.;)

split definitely! I hate looking through tons of posts about CA's to get to a couple about SA's.

if you don't know where your fish is from, do some research first, then post.

what bout angels and discus? Couldn't you merge SA, pikes, and angels/discus and it would still have plenty of traffic. Plus CA cichlids are probably the most popular on MFK so i doubt there will be too little traffic.

Plus people will post SA in the CA and vice versa, which will get tiresome for the mods moving threads.

Really... no need to thank me. :)

technically, I think you're more accurate to say that Mexico is in "North America", but we can let that pass . . .

I'd say keep 'em together because so many people keep both together; I know my tanks tend to be mixed CA/SA . . . I know which ones are which, but you could also group them together as "New World" cichlids, which covers everything

Technically, All of central America is part of North America. It is not considered a continent.
I say keep it as it is. I like the traffic this forum gets.

I was about to say this, but you beat me to it.

Central america is kind of a region, not a continent.
