is there any particular type of stingray that could be housed in a 150 wide? If so, would it be possible to breed a pair in that tank?

What is the foot print? Im not familiar with that size

not for sure, but i can tell you it would be 4 ft wide, 2.5 ft deep, 2 ft high if that helps :)

its a tad bit less in volume.

a 6x2x2 is already scraping it, i think that would be just under.

if your thinking about breeding.

think about the water quality, when u have to feed them loads to get them to breed, and if they do, the female eats double....
probly looking at daily water changes.

hystrix would work id personally go atleast 6'long... one of those perfecto 300s be perfect for a pair or trio of hystrix even retics.... if you added a drip system and went good on the filtration you could try it and see...

With a properly water change and a good filtration, I think it's work. I have 2 motoro 10'', 2 histrix 7'' and a small reticulata in a small tank-35 gallons (temporaly of course- 3mounth) untill my bigest tank will be ready. I change 20% water every day and i have a very good filtration. In this tank my stingray growth 3'' in 2 mounth. Yes, I know , it's too small but soon will finish with that and my stingray will live in beter conditions.
