Just about done with 600 Gallon Pond!

Hey all,
I haven't sent any updated pics since I haven't fully finished the pond. So I wanted to send these pics... I also added a Moto Ray thanks to (C00K) ,,, and he is doing well... started eating right off the bat when he got home!...But finally got around to some extra planting over the past night so here ya go... still needs another FX5 that is being shipped as we speak... and then the right side plant pot will be done... Then I am finished (NOT)! This hobby is a sickness not a "hobby"! Agree anyone????

Great set-up Vinny! Glad to hear the ray's doing well, what a stark contrast from the bare bottom tank I had him in!

cool, there's a lil motoro in there haha. is there a lot more room in there then it looks from the pics? theres so much stuff n plants it seems kinda tight in there. that setup looks freakin awesome. you stuck the glass to that rubber pond liner direct with silicone right?

thanks for the comments.. Trust me there is plenty of room... it looks small and tight but the plants are against the wall, its close to 9' corner to corner and then from the back to front its about 7' wide... the buddah statue is 3 1/2 feet tall and stands on a ceramic pot base that is 18" wide.. the silver aro is 26+ and he can make circles in it...maybe i should take a shot of it from above to get the full effect...thanks again peeps!

yes silicon to the pond liner and then seriously taped with pond tape... but just the water pressure against the glass is enough to hold it.. 1/2" tempered glass.... oh forgot, the size is a little bigger then a hot tub that you would place on an outside deck... so the moto has plenttttyyyy of room... sometimes i cant even find em... and my plecos i havent seen for weeks...unless there is extra shrimp left...

very nice tank/pond. Is the top open, with the fountain flowing into it? A shot from above would be great. I don' see how the budda could be 3 1/2 foot though, maybe 2 1/2'. Looks to me that the top of your pond is at 3 1/2'. Of course this is based off your light switch being at 48", but it could be that your light switch is at 5' and you have a 10' sliding glass door.

I'm going to use it as inspiration for my Indoor pond when I build it.

Yes my bad, the buddah is 2.5 feet tall...No the top isnt open i have it with netting on top because of the aros... there are the jumpers... and dont want to lose my babies.. honestly neither one has been jumpy since i put this together... but i will admit over the past few nights the small black has been getting pushy towards the huge silver.. its a pissing match every few hours..
