Never say drinking beer I got a infraction on here for saying I have some beers while doing my water changes. I was like ok I am not promoting to do it but your post may be taking down because of it I don't get but I don't make the rules here.

somewhat....american cichlids are great.....and ac110's are very reliable and not expensive,,,,filtration is subject to preference .... All sorts for fancy options
 
But they may give you a pass because I have Pacu!

never used a AC110. When I had freshwater last I had a FX5 sadly sold it when I sold my tank. anybody use the new G series filters ?? they look pretty nice by fluval
 
Fx 5 would rock ... But a smaller. Xp3 size can... and an ac110 would be a good start with smaller fish,you cold add more filtration later:) and a couple big central american cichlids mixed with 2-3convict size cichlids and a cat or2 =a cool community
