At $0.08 per kWh (which is approx. what my electricity costs) and the FX5 consuming 51 watts, it would cost just about $2.96 (USD)/month for an FX5

Ya I just checked out one of my old energy bills and it's about 0.06 cents per kWh. So energy won't cost that much for me to run a FX5.

I would go all bio or all mechanical for each FX5. The bio FX5 you will never have to deal with, just set em up and turn them on. The mechanical FX5 ones you will have to change out the filters once in a while but at least you can cut the time down and not have to open up every filter for cleaning.
