i agree with all your guys.

birchirs, and datnoids are my favorite types of fish.

i own about 3 now...
but i used to have like... 8~

bichirs own man.

and yes prehistoric.
cool colors.
and SICCCC hunting skills.

the honest reason why i like them so much is bcuz...
unlike most fish, being sorta soft [except for scales]

bichirs are HARDCORE.
i tried to let my flower horn eat one~
[yes sorta cruel but, i was young and dumb]

but that sucker survived for 4 days.
in which my friend wanted it.
so i gave it for him.

but all in all.
i learned to enjoy them,
as the great and wonderful being they are.

I just got my two on Saturday, and I'm thinking of getting one more. They're just so full of personality! I had to put my hand in the tank to re-secure a floating plant, and the senegal swam right up to my hand to investigate. It was amazing! I've heard that bichirs can actually bond with their owners. I hope this is true, because I've bonded with them.
