Just another day on the roof!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I build steel buildings and today was too windy to have a good day on the roof

You don't like the wind swinging your boom lift a few feet back and forth 100' up?

i think we are suppose to get that wind sunday.. i would not want to be on the roof in wind.

Its in Whitting, IN and its bp's 2nd largest refinery. Lots of cool stuff here, like the world's largest crawler crane. This crane is 500' tall and can crawl with 1, 000, 000#s lifted. The coker is 200' tall and offfers great views of the Chicago skyline.

Sounds like I would be at home.... i may be off here, but would that crawler be something like Big Blue?

what shame... nice house... what is it going for... how is the area .. how much property.. wait a minute.. what am i asking all these questions for... lol.. that house is too big to keep clean.....

Lol, I hear ya. Too much! Im not sure what its going for, the area is very nice, just outside of Ann Arbor. Not much for property tho, maybe a couple acres, but it has a new roof!!!!!

I make fiberglass auto parts. I have to go belt sand a bunch of pieces I pulled from there molds today. Its a dusty job have to where a full body and head coveralls to keep the fiberglass dust off me I got get to it today.

Sounds fun, reminds me of when I had my Nitro R/C and I shaved my offroad tires, every other tread, was blowing black snot for hours! (Prolly shoulda had a mask on!)

Its similar to big blue but beefier and can crawl with more weight than big blue could lift when stationary. Its so big that its most impressive from a half mile away, up close you just cant take in the whole machine. The furnace stacks on the left are about 190' tall.
