In about a month! i took media and a sponge filter from my 125 gallon to kick start but I'm going to run it for about a month to get fully established got 6 red eye tetras and 6 long fin black skirt and 2 peppered corys they only had 2 but i think the corys are a pair they swim together forge together. But now the tetras seem pretty aggressive towards each other no schooling or shoaling only a lot of chasing

having kept multiple sp of shellies- i have to recommend these guys over multi's Gold Ocellatus Cichlid: Tropical Fish for Freshwater Aquariums (liveaquaria.com) these are a real personality fish, big expressive eyes and attitude. also my dominant male used to bite me whenever i serviced the tank, didnt' hurt was just a cool thing
