im not much of a help here but fish freak is... good luck!

i have an aqua clear filter on the tank covered up the suction part with sponge ...4 days no fatalities all of them are eating well... and i can already tell atleast 5 of them with have full line black markings on each side so i'm excited.

so what do you plan when they start growing big?......you can't keep them all together.

how big is the tank, they will start beating each other up if kept in a small tank

Make sure your keeping up with your water changes, keep feeding them crushed up flakes and brine shrimp. Try and pick out the ones you want. You can tell from a young age how a flowerhorn is going to look as an adult and try and sell the rest. Chances are your not going to be able to provide for 23 adult flowerhorns so wait till they get a little bigger and post them in the buy and sell forum.

You must be pretty good with flowerhorns. I have seen some ugly babies turn out to be masterpieces.

Care to share the wisdom?

Me and my uncle plan to wait till they all get to be roughly 1 inch... pick the 4 best looking ones and sell the rest either back to the fish store or to others who are interested... we have four 33 galon tanks awaiting the ones we do keep. i've kept flowerhorns for 5 years so i know what i'm doing.
