Just Bought Some Beautiful Peacocks

cool those are nice and hopefully yours stay colored, I've had rubins that colored up at 1.5 inch so you might be good to go... some Rubins do have bright yellow/orange rather than the red...
 
Hey folks--

Hopefully you've kept subscribed to this post because believe it or else, it has been the recommended time to check and see if my peacocks were doped and have lost their colors.

The reminder popped up while I was at work, so I'll need to take the photos when I get home and upload them then. I just wanted to poke a reminder that I will be posting the photos soon.

Nice looking peacocks very pretty fish but I thought i was reading about peacock bass ... lmao
 
Well, the little guys are more active than I had hoped for their photo shoot. I got most of them, but not all. I'm also dealing with a cloudy water issue that occurred from my last major cleaning, SO, I will post the photos ASAP.

i found an albino peacock at Petco. i NEVER buy fish from that place.. i was buying food for my koi, and i saw him. i'd NEVER seen an albino blue peacock cichlid. i snatched him up! only 5 bucks

Yea, I NEVER buy from Petco. I still have fish from Petsmart, but I boycotted Petco because their employees are so rude and anti-customer service oriented.

Now that I'm more of a hobbyist, when I go to Petsmart for a quick little something, I always look at their cichlids. They are now selling what most people would call fry as pets. I can't believe they are selling them that young. One yellow lab was probably 1 cm long.
