Just bought some Convicts

Same situation with my pair. They have gone throught he motions constantly since bringing them home. I think the other male White tops are taking care of the eggs.

Well I just looked again and I have about 100 or so eggs in the main tank. Gonna be interesting when they try to fend off my Red Wolf

They are a lot meaner and tougher than people give them credit for.

Well, they finally got it right. As I was working in the fishroom, I looked in the tank and saw a big group of free swimmers. I moved them over to a smaller tank as the male was beating up the female protecting the fry. Probably about 25 of them.

Go figure, after I spend the last two complaining about how they haven't bred....leave it to the fish to prove me wrong.

i have never had cons.. but i find them interesting and active and beautiful...

When they feel they are on top they can bully a bit. They are good at being bullied too.
