Just bought some frontosas

They are skiddish and will need time to adjust, they should warm up eventually but any quick movements or even walking near the tank will cause them to scatter. I know mine still scatter but will come back out if I just stand there for a minute.

As for getting them to grow faster I just feed a few times a day. Keep in mind they just are not going to grow fast like how other fish will, they are just generally slow growers.

Well i brought mine burundis in June. and they were around 1.5 inches long at that time.
And now they are around 5 inches or so. There nuctual hump growth is bumping up.Still they are shy but now they got some courage to rome around freely. I use to fed them
Tetra bits, shrimps(sinking ), Hikari bio-gold +, Hikari cichlid staple.whatever u do they will eat when they want to.. So growth rate is slow.

yes they are the only fish in the tank(60 gallon for now). once they get bigger im going to upgrade to a possibly 150 gallon. ill try to get some pictures but they are always hiding in caves.
